Our Afternoon Tea menus are award-winning and our kitchens are extremely proud of the homemade sandwiches, cakes, and scones they serve. Seeing them piled high on bone china plates with accompanying pots of strawberry jam and thick clotted cream, it’s easy to see how they won over the most critical judge’s eye.
The period lounges are the perfect place to enjoy our Afternoon Tea, or if the weather is nice and warm, the terrace overlooking the lawns and lake makes a sunny alternative. Or we’ll carefully pack your high tea into a picnic hamper for you to enjoy wherever you like.

Afternoon Tea is served in the relaxed and elegant surroundings of our Lounges between 1.30pm - 6pm. Available daily to both hotel resident and non-resident guests. Please note each table booking is for 2 hours only.

Fluffy white scones covered in clotted cream and strawberry preserve, a range of freshly made sandwiches bursting with flavor, and a delightful assortment of cakes direct from our kitchen, all complemented by Birchall Great Rift and Earl Grey tea bags for you to brew at home – are available for collection.
