Guaranteed check in is available from 3pm. You are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy our facilities before accessing your room.

All of our bedrooms feature an en-suite bathroom with towelling robes, slippers, and Molton Brown toiletries. There is also a Nespresso machine and tea making facilities, freeview television, direct dial telephone, radio alarm clock, and hairdryer available in every room. Fridges are available on request (subject to availability).

Any guests staying overnight have access to our Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Gym and Tennis Courts on a complimentary basis. Residents also benefit from discounted golf rates, which we recommend booking in advance. 

We can accommodate families in our Junior Suite category and above. We have a range of cots, sofa beds and extra beds available to ensure everyone in comfortable during your stay.

We do have a number of dog friendly bedrooms available, and our 186 acre estate makes the perfect escape with your pooch. If you have other furry friends, please contact our reservations team to discuss options. 

We have around 200 car parking spaces onsite, all available on a complimentary basis for visitors of the hotel. If you require blue badge or EV parking (additional costs apply), please contact our concierge team on concierge@ashdownpark.co.uk

Our Fairway Suites do have air conditioning. Due to the nature of the building in the Mansion Suite and East Wing, it is not something that we have been able to put in place throughout the hotel. Fans will be provided where required. 

No problem at all. Our front office team have dental, shaving and sewing kits available on a complimentary basis for resident guests.

Our Country Club boasts an indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, air conditioned gym & yoga studio, two tennis courts, 18 hole golf course, driving range, 6 beauty rooms, nail salon, relaxation lounge, bikes to hire, and forest brasserie restaurant. 

Yes, you are welcome to enjoy the leisure facilities from midday on your check in day. Feel free to leave your luggage with Concierge at the main hotel reception.

Under 16’s must be accompanied at all times, and cannot book treatments. We also have exclusive children swim times for those aged 12 and under (9am – 12noon, and 3pm-6pm). 

Please bring appropriate attire for your chosen activity. We offer bathrobes & flipflops on request, towels for your swim and shower, or gym towels for other physical activity. You can also hire equipment for golf or tennis from the country club reception.

Yes, children under 12 can swim between 9am - 12noon, and 3pm – 6pm. Please ensure that children are supervised in the country club at all times.

While we do not operate a dress code, most of our guests dining the Anderida Restaurant choose smart casual or formalwear. 

Our kitchen can cater for most dietary requirements, but please let our reservations team know in advance. 

Our AA Rosette Anderida Restaurant focuses on Country House classics - light dining full of bold flavours. Meanwhile, the Forest Brasserie offer a more informal dining experience, using local food and beverage to build the perfect menu. Both restaurants offer a seasonal a la carte menu.

No, anybody is welcome to dine in either of our restaurants, and our lounge for lunch. 

We strongly recommend booking your table in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Yes, we offer room service. A menu is available to view in your room but if you would like to see a sample in advance, please contact our reservations team.

Of course. Whether you are a hotel guest or visiting for the day, we’d be delighted to treat you to our renowned afternoon tea. Served daily from 1.30pm-6pm. 

If looking for something a little more special than our standard a la carte menu, why not try our eight-course tasting menu? We also host regular dining and entertainment events and can even host your special birthday or anniversary in a private room.

Our Dinner, Bed and Breakfast page includes a £50.00 per person allowance to use on food in either of our restaurants. Breakfast is also included for the next morning, in all of our stays.

We recommend pre-booking golf, as the course can have last-minute closures. Croquet and Tennis does not require pre booking, equipment can be borrowed from our team.

Yes, our Concierge team can recommend walking routes nearby, and we also have jogging trails sign-posted around the estate.

If you do not have a car of your own, our concierge team can help arrange taxis to your chosen days out. There is also a bus stop that services local towns such as East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Uckfield. 

Our Swimming Pool is available for children to enjoy (see Children’s Swim Times), as well as the Tennis Courts, Croquet Lawn, Garden Games and Trail around the Grounds.

East Grinstead is just 6.4 miles from us and services London. Others nearby include Haywards Heath (Brighton service) and Tunbridge Wells (alternative London service)

We are based 16 miles (around 40 minutes) from Gatwick Airport.

We are a non-smoking hotel. There are designated areas where smoking and vaping is permitted, with appropriate places to discard your cigarettes. Please respect those around you.
