Attending a Wedding at Ashdown Park Hotel? Here is everything you should know!

Staying Overnight

Whether looking for a place to crash after a night of partying or wanting to make a longer stay of your visit to the Ashdown Forest, our 106 bedrooms can accommodate you. We have 9 categories of bedrooms, with family rooms and bedrooms with twin beds available. You can compare our room types HERE.

Should your room not be ready prior to the start of the celebrations, you are welcome to leave your luggage with our Concierge Team and use our Country Club facilities as a place to get ready. Our guaranteed check-in time is 3pm, and check-out is 11am the following morning.

Transport

If you are making your own way to the venue, we have complimentary car parking spaces available onsite. If you plan to leave your vehicle overnight, please provide our Front Office Team with your vehicle registration. For those arranging taxis, we recommend doing so in advance, due to our rural location. If you would like assistance with this, our Concierge Team would be pleased to help (aphconcierge@elitehotels.co.uk).

On The Day Timings

Your invitation will have the chosen timings of your host's day.

If their ceremony is with us, we recommend arriving 30 minutes ahead of the start time. Our bar will be open until 15 minutes before but please note that drinks cannot be taken into the service. Should you arrive late to the ceremony, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to enjoy the service, and may have to wait until the reception begins.

If you are an evening guest, please note that the wedding party may still be enjoying their meal on your arrival. We have a lounge and bar available for your comfort until it is time to join the festivities.

Other Information

Please ensure you let your hosts know of any dietary requirements in advance so that we can suitably cater for you on the day.

Our venue is accessible with most function spaces on the ground floor, and a lift within our Richard Towneley Suite. Should you require an accessible bedroom, please contact Reservations directly.

We are a cashless hotel, please prepare for this when purchasing drinks at the bar.
